Who carries a Colt?

I've been reading about the 1911's I'm looking to buy, and I got to wondering.
The USMC and LAPD (SWAT and SIS) carry Kimbers...the FBI carries a Springfield...

So who carries a Colt? This is not meant to be inflammatory, it's an honest one. Can anyone tell me?

I rotate between a Combat Commander, a Colt 70 series re-issue, and am working on making sure my new 80 series is good to go. I have purged my 1911's of everything but Colts, And one Norinco. Which by the way seems much better than I thought and much better than the SA it replaced.

I appologize for all these people, Alexanderom. None of them ever learned to read.

I don't believe any agency carries the Colt 1911 auto anymore.

With that said...I can't read either. I carry a Kimber UCC II (I'm my own agency)...
