I realize that every GP100 owner with an internet connection will eventually try their hand at a spring replacement/polish job, but my gun has a creepy single-action pull and I have no desire to monkey with the sear and hammer surfaces on my own. Where's a good place to send this otherwise excellent revolver for some proper, professional care? (All I need is the trigger work, the rest of the gun suits me just fine).

Bowen, sadly, seems to be out of the running for a simple trigger job:

"In order to provide not only the finest in custom revolver craftsmanship but also our best possible customer service, we offer our services in packaged form rather than a la carte. These modifications are carefully selected and coordinated to offer superior function, appearance and value. Our packages are based not only on our considerable experience in the shop but also on the tremendous field experience of our clients. We regret that we cannot, as a general rule, entertain smaller jobs, particularly repairs and remedial work."

+1 on Gemini Customs. I had him do his stainless package with Hybraporting on my SP101, but if you want he will just do an action job.

I couldn't believe the difference in the trigger pull both DA and SA after I got it back from him. He kind of specializes in DA only conversions, but I had him retain the SA on my SP101. You won't be disappointed and he's a great guy to deal with as well. He also does GP100's.

One of the neat things he can do is a conversion where you can use full moon clips as well as standard loading by hand or with a speed loader.

I would like to put in a plug for Matt Almeda. He does custom work on Ruger revolvers and is a member here. Matt and his wife are all around great people to do business with.

He has repaired a COLT Cobra of mine and did some very specific custom work on my SO's Smith and Wesson home defense revolver. Both jobs came out perfect and if I owned a Ruger that need anything, it would be on its way to him tomorrow.
