I recently bought a Browning A bolt in 12 gauge. Beautiful gun! Went to have a peek at the insides, (since it was used) and I can not get the stock off. All the screws are out, and the action will rock back and forth, pivoting about where the front of the magazine is, best I can tell. I am very sure all the screws are out. I tried VERY gently using a hammer and a plastic punch, but no good. This is my first A-bolt so I have nothing to compare it to, and from what I can find online, there are no tricks to disassembling an A-bolt rifle. No info on the shotgun. I wouldn't think the procedure for the slug model of this gun would be any different, but if someone has one and there is a trick to it, I'd love some help on this one?
