Who makes scopes with a “rain guard” coating?

I remember the Bushnell Elite line (probably the only ever quality Bushnell) had lens coatings that would bead up moisture making them usable in weather. Is anyone making something similar these days that works?

Rain x beads water, and can make for some very bad fogging under the right conditions. Fogged glass is more of a deal breaker than glass with a few water drops on it.

I learned this when I applied some regular rain X to a bathroom mirror that became unusable if the shower had been running.

It was at that point I learned they have a different product for that application.

Ever try cutting a potato in half and rubbing it on glass?

Most brands have some form of rain guard on their top end models, like were the Bushnell Elites. Not all will call it the same thing - Bushnell calls theirs “EXO Barrier,” and “RainGuard,” Vortex calls it “Rainguard,” Nightforce just mentions a hydrophobic coating which repels water (and promotes beading to run off), Leupold calls theirs “Guard-ion,” Zeiss has LotuTec, Burris has their hydrophobic coating on their XTR’s… everyone has SOMETHING…
