The holster I want is for a 2.5" S&W 66--i.e., a k-frame .357.

The holster I want is an OWB pancake holster that holds the gun close to the body. It has no retaining strap or device.

The holster I want is comfortable, well-made, and not ugly.

The holster I want MAY have some kind of easy-on, easy-off snaps on the belt loops. Dunno--comfort and concealment are more important.

Does anyone have or know the location of this holster?

I like the DeSantis Speed Scabbard for short barrel a K frame. I use one for my 2 3/4" Ruger Police Service-Six and it's very comfortable. Even though the price on the site is $62 I bought several for $43 locally.

Don Hume makes a good product at a very fair price.

Galco makes a high quality product too. They have a Speed Paddle Holster you might like, if not they have many other good choices.

Well rcmodel,I don't know about ChristopherG but I just looked at the street combat and I am getting it. Thank you for the link.

Well Christopher, was wondering the same thing you are ('cept for a 3-inch GP100), but I couldn't find the answer. So I just made my own. :D

Aside from rolling your own, I'll second the recommendation for the El Paso Saddlery Street Combat model.

I haven't personally checked out a Simply Rugged holster, but I've been awefully tempted to try one out.

Another model you might look at is the Don Hume 721OT.

I personally don't like any of the other mass-produced wheelgun holsters because they tend to ride way too high, resulting in a top-heavy package that leads to holster flop.

Bulman Gunleather should have what you want, somewhere. His wait time is very long these days, however.

Coincidentally, I had a FBS for the same gun as yours. Unfortunately I sold the gun and the holster got lost in one of several moves. :( It was beautiful work, absolutely top-notch.

I will recommend a Galco "sm112". Double stitched in the U.S.A.
I have one for my 2-3/4" speed-six ruger 357 mag, and it has no straps, but it does cover the hammer. Another traditional leather I'd recommend is Bianchi's 5BHL with thumb strap-I have two of those and they carry and perform like a dream as does the Galco.
Best-Mike
