I saw that Tripp is no longer taking orders, so who should I trust my Glock 30 slide to. I have the gun for over ten years and thought it would be a nice change to chrome or blk chrome the slide and put some new night sights on it. Maybe I would start carrying it again, at least once in a while. Any experiences that you fellows have had or suggestions as to fit and finish would be appreciated.

Robar offers an extensive menu of custom work for Glocks including several refinishing options.

Their NP3 composite finsh is very well-thought-of in professional circles for its combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and self-lubricating qualities.

IIWY, I'd give them a call and discuss what you want done. They may already have a 'package' deal that offers what you want at a savings over the "A la carte" prices.

Second Robar....they've got 15% off right now.....electroless nickle is very tough and long wearing, also....

I just sent one off to Mahovsky's Metalife. Its the first gun I have had plated but I have used the same coating on precision machine parts for too many years and you can not wear the stuff off. The more it rubs the slicker it gets.
His prices are very resonable too.
Lets see a picture of whatever you do.

By far the best is KTADDONS. You can check out his work on KTOG.org. I had him do a job for my KT P11 - it is Titanium Nitrade Cobalt Boron Nitrade. Check out the specs on their site - http://www.ktaddons.com/about.htm
I don't know if he does Glocks or not, but it is well looking into.
