I have been pondering this question for a while. Why exactly did glock put finger groves on the 3rd gens? Did enough people request it, or did glock decide to do it on their own? I have held every 3rd gen glock, and not one fits my hand right. My finger feels pinched between the trigger guard and the first finger grove. The 2nd gens fit my hand so much better. I would think the smart and economical thing to do would be to leave the front smooth, and let people put a slip on grip or something. After all, thats what 99% of all other pistol manufactures have done. Not to mention the gun would fit more peoples hands. An adjustable backstrap would be a good thing too.
