I carry in a SmartCarry so the most important things to me are barrel length and flatness. Right now, I'm carrying a Compact Springfield and I have no complaints as far as comfort goes. It has a decent amount of firepower on hand with WC 7 round mags and since the mags are very flat, it's easy to carry a spare.
I have a couple of other pistols that I have carried, but I don't carry them regularly.
My Beretta Tomcat is both underpowered (I feel) and not really reliable at this point. I get stovepipes in it often enough that I don't trust it.
I also have a S&W 1076 that I would actually prefer to carry because I am a bit more comfortable with the DA/SA design. I also prefer the 10mm as a defensive caliber. But I just got it recently and it's unproven as of yet and probably needs to go to the factory for some work. The 1076 is kind of pushing the limits of practicality in the SmartCarry due to the barrel length.
