Why no 22 mag semi auto pistol?

Plus its pricey and really at best you're going to get ballistics similar to a 22LR rifle.

This is true. The 22 WMR looses a lot of power/velocity out of short pistol barrels compared to rifle barrels. Though the PMR30 is still fun to shoot. And I love the fact that it uses the same magazines as the CMR30. I own both and enjoy them quite a bit.
