Does anyone know why Safariland refuses to make a Speedloader for a S&W 686 Plus (7 Shot)? I've used Safariland for other calibers/revolvers and would love to keep to a single manual of arms. However, they steadfastly refuse to make one, apparently.

I know of the 5-stars; very nice and rugged, but again a different manual of arms.

Thanks very much-

The market is too small for them to tool up. Plastic products are cheap if made in quantity, moulds are expensive.

The seven shooter is not suitable for NRA or IDPA, not as good as the 8 shooters for USPSA or ICORE.

Thanks for the responses -

Tell you what - I didn't even care about the extra hole in the cylinder. I just wanted a 3" L-frame 686. Only way to get that, is with seven holes.

Thanks for the responses, folks.
