Why not a "Savage" revolver?

Which is to say, why has nobody built a front-loading sixgun with the cylinder capacity and strength to shoot .44 Magnum-level smokeless-powder loads with modern bullets?

Simply a lack of market, or is there some technical reason that this would not work?
