Because it's easier for my Dad to walk into a gun store and buy a machine gun than it is for me to put an attachment on my barrel. (74-style Muzzle Brake on my WASR-10)

Even my Mom (who's an anti) agrees to that.

Not sure I understand your point? Buying a machine gun isn't exactly a walk into a gunstore and do it sorta thing. It's not cheap, fast, or easy. Having a gunsmith permanetly attach a flash supressor to a rifle is a relatively easy and inexpensive thing to do, however.

I think his point is that you can legally buy a machine gun right now, but cannot (until after tomorrow night) attach a flash suppressor to a Post-ban gun.
