Now that I've got your attention(s).. this post will preface my actual posts on this topic.

I'm prefacing it because it needs to be.


Now, before you "react" as most of you are prone to.. please have the simple courtesy to read the thread and NOT "react" if even to a to a response. This is a vitally important thread - folks and most of you damn well better start waking up! No, no Hysterics, no hyperbol, simple logic and rational. You see I've been reading the same same same posts for 20 to 25 years now, and been part of the fight for 30 years. A LOT of the senior shooting community is disgusted with the current crop of shooters.. Why? read on:

One more thing... I'm posting these to get you people to THINK for a change... NOT REACT!!! So please, for a change... think.. take a day, two days.. even a week if you need to.. but THINK!! BEFORE YOU POST!

So you also understand, this is not a specific slam for just the pro-2nd community, it's an attack on American "life" in general. I love this country and I hate to see what's it's coming to. But most of all, none of you have really stopped to understand what loosing the 2nd means, because where the 2nd goes, so goes the 1st and the Bill of Rights. American will no longer be America.

And unfortunately, I will be using generalizations with all the inherent problems, but I don't want to sit down and write a 20 zillion page statment to get the point across... so get over it..

Besides that, we really need to move beyond this whole "The RKBA is toast, and I'm the last samurai" meme.

If people put half the effort into political activism that they use to bellyache on teh intarweb, we'd probably be working on repealing the Sullivan Act.
