Has anyone here heard of the 35-340 (.340wby necked up to .358)? I am trying to find any info that I can on it. Also if anyone here shoots a .358 STA and could shoot me some case dimensions that would be great.

The ballistics and case capacity are going to just about equal to the 358 STA (Shooting Times Alaskan)

I don't shoot it, but here's the case dimensions for the .358 STA.

Personally, the 358 Norma Magnum makes more sense. They can be used through standard actions.

So are you saying load data should be similar? I am looking at a rifle chambered in the 35-340 mentioned but don't have any load data, and I am just trying to gather as much info as possible, as I don't want to just start guessing too much

and BTW RC, what the heck don't you know???
