Wilderness / Survival Training - Norcal

Anyone recommend any schools, weekend type camps/ranges in Northern california for advanced survival training and wilderness?

I'd like to go take a class, it's been a long time since I've had to remember plants, bugs, and be on my own. I could use a refresher course.

Anyone recommend somewhere?

I've looked and couldn't find any.

Your best bet will be to go out-of-state. Too bad you will need to go to the Rockies or Canada if you want a course in survival training that pertains to our Sierras.

There are a number of Calif. people there who are very interested in outdoor survival, and some who live in your area. They can give you some helpful information.
