Will +10% springs make a Glock mag better?

Here is my situation. I live behind enemy lines in a state that is still under the high cap mag ban. I would like to rebuild two Glock 23 mags. However, due to changes Glock has made to newer mag bodies I cannot have the latest followers (#8). I must stay with #5. This leaves me with only the spring to replace.

Should I go with a +10% magazine spring? Will this help? I hesitate to use non-Glock oem parts.

I consider the Wolf 10% springs a mandatory upgrade for my Glocks, as I believe that the factory springs are a Glock's achilles heel. I have used them in all my mags since the late 90's, and I have had no problems with them whatsoever.

Also, check with glockmeister and see if he has any older followers left.

I second the Fallguy. My Glock 20 mags started failing to feed the last round (the slide would ride over the top of the round) until I replaced the springs with Wolfies. Years later they're going perfectly with the replacement springs. Just have to keep your loading thumb strong, as the last couple of rounds are a bit tough to shove in. Likewise when seating a full mag with the slide forward-- gotta shove real hard to latch it in.
