will a K98 bayonet fit on a yugo m48 or m24/47?

A friend of mine has a real cheap K98 bayonet that hes willing to sell for $20. Ive never even seen this available, but I dont' have an k98. I'd like to buy it just because, well, it's $20, but will it fit my m48 or m24/47?

Is there some reason you can't try it and see if it fits your rifle?

yes, it will fit. The hard one is to know if a m48 bayonet will fit a 98k. There is no barrel/lug distance to worry about with the 98k bayonet since it mounts soley on the bayonet lug (no barrel loop) and the yugo mausers use the same pattern lug.

Thanks KungFu, that's what I needed to know. I figured the bayonet lugs are the same, just the barrel loop part might be a little diferent.
