I've seen a lot of talk about this, but no definitive answers. From what I've seen Colt 6720s do not have F marked sight bases and may or may not have taller front sight posts. Are the current ones shipping with taller front sight posts? Will I be able to co-witness a Magpul BUIS with a Primary Arms microdot?

My understanding is that the 6720 uses a taller front sight post, so you should have no problems with the Magpul BUIS. Co-witness will depend on the mount you use for the PA.

The difference between a standard and F-marked front sight is that the F marked is .04" taller. I use a Daniel Defense fixed rear A1.5 sight and it has a lower-1/3 cowitness in an Aimpoint T1 micro with Larue mount as intended. The mount will be what determines whether it's absolute or lower 1/3, etc.

Mine came with a taller front site post and Magpul rear BUIS... I have an Aimpoint PRO using the mount it comes with and I had no problem with co-witness or IBZO.

Thanks all. I have the standard AR flattop AR height mount.
