Understand that Hodgdon does not, has not and probably never will manufacture ANY powder.

It's kind of like asking if your local Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Jeep dealer will stop making Jeeps, or if your local Safeway will stop producing milk.

Hodgdon is purely a MARKETING concern, they take products produced by various manufacturers, package them under their label and then use their marketing and distribution networks to sell these products in such a way as to maximize their profits.

Hodgdon will make whatever changes that they feel will allow them to make the most money. Obviously if they do anything to alienate their customer base, it's likely to cost them customers once the present insanity ends and normal free markets return.

I think they've done a pretty good job over the last 10 years or so with consolidating product lines to maximize profits while keeping consumer complaints and dissatisfaction to a minimum.

My personal expectation is that this trend will continue.
