Looks like both Illinois and Wisconsin are a little closer to finally permitting CCW.

Who do you think will pull it off first?

I wonder what now? Will the bill go back to the drawing board untill Republicans cure this Democratic tumor of a state? To bad this can't go to the Supreme Court for a decision free from the inept Chicago-blooded politicans.

The sad thing is, years ago we were close also. Then a republican governor, Edgar, shot it down.

It is Illinois, no doubt about it. Something in the water, I'm starting to think.

We should remember the cowards who went along with Quinn come election time. And we should put them on the unemployment line at that time.

During the debate a rep brought up a point which basically was "vote yes now or get it shoved down your throats via NRA and SCOTUS". Looks like we'll be doing it the hard way.

I swear I could just punch a puppy right now.

I think (hope) the stage is set for Wisconsin to finally get it, not so much for the folks south of us. However, when Wisconsin turns into a carry state, that might help pull Illinois in the right direction.

I'm ashamed, disgusted and disgraced to admit I live in Hellinois. :barf:
Sorry dude. I left Illinois seven years ago and I'm really glad I did. Between Blagojevich, Daley, Emanuel and several other clown acts running that state I'm glad I got out while the gettin was good.

I still pray for you guys and hope the political environment will get back on track soon. Illinois is a great state and has a lot to offer.

Im hoping Wisconsin does as every time i visit friends there , I am an outlaw !!
I dont get it, you can use a high-powered rifle just about ANYWHERE in the state to hunt deer ,but you cant carry a pistol for personal protection.! I think they need a NEW political power in BOTH states called the common-sense party

If it weren't for being divorced and wanting to see my kid daily, my butt would be across the river.

The fight isn't over yet though.

I feel for you milq. My wife is from Murphysboro and her mom and dad just retired and bought a winter house in Florida, and will build a place in Missouri for the warm seasons..........my father-in-law decided no more tax dollars for Chicago.
