I own a full auto M16A1 lower receiver.

Will this AR-15 upper receiver kit from Rock River Arms work with my M16A1 lower receiver?

the upper should be compatible, however the carrier is prob an "ar15" style and won't trip the auto sear. will work fine in semi-auto. you can buy an m16 or full-auto carrier though and should be good to go

however, there are much better choices. i wouldn't buy that, or anything with A.R.M.S. on it

thanks for the info taliv!

would you mind pointing me to your choices for my full auto M16A1 lower?

you'll be very happy with the performance of anything on that page. while a bit pricey, i REALLY like the knight's URX II rails (have the built-in folding front sight) and are very light-weight. The Daniel defense "Lite" rails are also quite nice.

those uppers are probably a few more $, but for a full-auto, that's prob not a big deal, and they are assembled better, use better barrels (those hammer forged barrels are quite nice), and better quad-rails. you would notice a big difference in weight and quality if you held them.

You need the M-16 bolt carrier to make that full auto. I'd give them a call and see if they had those in stock. Might be able to substitute the AR-15 carrier for the M-16.

oh, one more thing... make sure your "M16A1" lower has the right sized pins. If it's a colt, they may be non-standard. I can never keep which ones are and which ones aren't straight.
