I'm talking to a guy about buying a couple steel, East-block, 10-round magazines, but I just noticed they're single-stack WASR magazines.
As I understood, the original WASR's were of single-stack configuration, and the mag wells were milled out to accept the standard AK magazines. So, will these fit OK in a regular AK, or not? Thanks......
(BTW, I realize I could just take an AK with me and check on the spot, but I'd rather not waste either of our times un-necessarilly.)

Fit? Yes. But they won't feed. The face of a standard AK bolt is too wide to fit between the feed lips. The WASR series that used those magazines has a modified bolt:

There are many other options if you are just looking for ten round magazines.
