I like it. I bet it takes off.

As far as the drama goes, to each their own but if the world didn't change then everything would always be the same. There are plenty of metal guns still available for old you old school guys. :)

I like free guns. I almost wet my pants when I thought of such
a good name for this one. I'll post some pics of it when I get it.

I did wet myself when I entered my name into it. I also actually think it looks very nice, I like the High-Power style cuts on the front of the slide, I think it looks solid and like it will be a great gun. I've never had a 1911 before, my first gun was what I have always thought of as a more current design that followed the 1911 design in many ways, at least in concept, the HK USP, too bad they didn't give it as nice a trigger though. So it would be ironic if my first 1911 were an actual poly framed 1911, instead of a new design that incorporates some of the ergonomic functions of the 1911.

the wilson combat UGLY McCRAP-FOR-NAME. :scrutiny:

awwwwww..... im just joking in the most jealous since of the term. sure wish i won the free $2000 wilson. congrats to whoever had the foresight to submit such a dumb name.

As the fat comic book guy on the Simpsons would say: Worst. Name. Ever.

And, adding insult to injury, it wasn't even the one I submitted, which is much more bothersome to me than the fact that I'm not sure they could have picked a less relevant name for a pistol they claim to be pitching to the civilian CCW market if they tried.

They're really pitching it to the mall ninjas.
