In search of a complete original and correct rear sight with elevator for a model 06 winchester.I've searched google for it but cant find a complete one.any leads is greatly appreciated.thanks.

I dont want to buy one without an accurate pic of what they are selling.the one they show looks nothing like the one it requires.

Interesting. I have an 06 Winchester, and that looks correct.

That looks like the one on my '06. However, and I may just be suffering an episode of CRS, but I thought that depending upon age there were two different rear sights on these Winchesters.

maybe I should take a second look,I have been mistaken a time or two.....dozen in the past.

You're in luck that the same rear sight should be applicable for either the Winchester model 1890 or 1906, if you happen to not want a repro and prefer the real McCoy.

Haven't talked myself into a tang sight for 130 bucks for my 1906, but if I did, no soda can would be safe from that 22 at 100 paces.....

I would like to keep it original,the gun has LOTS of patina,made in '24,a brand new sight would look out of place

I believe that my '06 dates from 1925. SN: 6402xx

It would be interesting to know how close yours is.
