Does anybody know anything about these guns? I have the Win 275 in 22 magnum that might be a great shooter but the 10 pound trigger pull is atrocious. The hammer spring is the culprit, way too heavy. I tried the AR-15 trick and clipped one leg. Now it has a nice trigger but the spring is not strong enough to to fire a shell. Any ideas?

You can maybe get a new spring here for $20 bucks plus shipping.

With that said, parts for these guns are getting very scarce & expensive.
I would advise you to put the new spring in and leave it alone.

Or take it to a good gunsmith who fully understands why the trigger pull is so heavy (It is not because the hammer spring is too heavy!) and how to fix it.

If you mess up a trigger or hammer yourself, it can easily cost more then the gun is worth for new parts, if you can even find them.

Oh, I bought 2 hammer springs before I even tried this. I'd love to find a gunsmith that could fix this. None in my area. I had a 250 Win in 22 and it had a nice trigger. And the hammer spring is the same for both. I just figured it had a spring with less tension on it.
