My uncle recently passed on and I was fortunate enough to inherit his firearm collection. One of which is a 1947 winchester model 12. It has minor surface rust, grease, dust, and gunk within the guns action (hasn't been fired since 1960's). I want to restore but can't find how to take the barrel off the reciever (I'm assuming it's a take down model). Any pointers on disassembly and good metal cleaners? Thanks for the help.
