Winchester Model 37 16ga

Hey I got a Winchester 37 16 gauge Steel Bilt. I was going to buy a better stock for it and i saw one that is advertised for a Model 37A 410-12 gauge. Will this fit a Model 37 16 gauge? Thanks.

I'm thinking probably not; My dad had one in 16, and I'm thinking the wood on that would be a bit big for a .410. You could always try these folks; they have some nice replacements.

Details

Please do not confuse the original Winchester 37 with the later model 37A.
Parts have no interchange at all between them in any size, gauge, or instance.

I am not sure if even the buttplate screws are similar enough to interchange, and the wood fit is completely different in configuration where adjacent to the frame.
