It was made in 1926, if thats original finish I'd say up to 2 grand. There's one on Gunbroker right now made in 1925, re-blued and the starting bid is $1800 (though no one has bid yet)

Two others I've seen one in 80% with spot rust had a buy it price of $1350, the other has 7 more days to go. Hope it helps.

Thank you for the link. Looks like a very good site. I sent him some pictures.
Here is a picture to show how the blueing has worn on the reveiver. Doesen't
look right to me, but then again I don't know what I am looking for.

It appears to me you have an exceptionally fine Model 92 made in 1926.

At first I thought it had been refinished, but further pictures you posted leads me to believe it has just never been used much at all since it left the factory.

The bluing wear looks like period handling/storage marks.
Normally, when you find a Winchester that old, the bluing is either turned brown or worn completely off on the tang & lever, under the receiver where it was carried, and in the loading port spring from loading rounds in it over the years. Also, the left side of the receiver would have a shiny spot with no finish where the saddle-ring rubbed on it all the time.

How is the condition of the bore?
If pitted or dark, it would suggest a skillful refinish job many years ago.
If spotless with no pitting or darkness, it would suggest it is in keeping with the rest of the rifle.

That one right there must have been kept in reserve all these years, well maintained, and never handled or fired.
