Folks I recommended to a friend of mine that he buy a Win. Super X 2. He bought a used one at Gander Mountain. This particular shotgun has been a nightmare. Before I get into the problems please note that this gun has been cleaned meticlously including the barrel gas ports. This gun is prestine.
When you pull the trigger it only dents the primer. When you reload the same shell and it finally fires,it won't eject the shell. Then sometimes the gun jams up so tight you can't charge the handle manually because the bolt armature comes out of recoil spring cup back in the stock.Prior to that, the trigger spring came out and screwed the trigger up and jammed up the safety.Has any one had similar problems? The Gun is back at Gander Mt. and they are thinking it over. It performs like this with both the bird barrel or lug barrel. Any input would help me immensely. Thank you.
