I realize I should ask someone in Minnesota about this, but?
Any experience with a warm hooded sweatshirt with wind-shear, or polar-fleece, or any darn thing that stops the wind??
I have a ‘Winchester’ branded Chinese camo hoody sweatshirt I bought at Wal-Mart some years ago. 40% cotton/60% polyester reversible black & cammo.
It weighs 4 pounds when it’s dry!
And it’s colder than a witches tata in a brass bra in the wind, and too hot in mid-fall temperatures.
Not to mention the zipper stops 2” below my neck & chin, so cold air blows in, and warm air leaks out!
I don’t remember this from years ago when we bought American made fleece lined cotton hooded sweatshirts at J.C. Penny’s.
But maybe I was warmer blooded back then??
This darn thing is driving me crazy trying to keep warm at 45 degrees, or not too hot at 55 degrees.
And so far I have not found anything better for under $100 bucks.
Wondering about the Carhartt zipper hooded sweatshirts for around $50+ bucks??
Or something from Cabala’s with Gor-tex or Polartec fleece?
But again, made in China!
Them little guys apparently don’t get cold, so what do they know about it.
