If i remember correctly?

I am thinking there was two ejectors? Differents between 2 3/4" receivers & 3" receivers from the 1960s?
If you put a 3" chambered barrel on a 2 3/4" receiver, the 3" shell would not eject?

Correct. The 2-3/4" receivers are the same as the 3" receivers other than the ejector assembly. Easy to convert if you want to shoot 3" ammo. I've done several. Of course you have to either ream your current barrel to 3" or get another one already cut to 3".

Not sure what you mean by a "forged" ejector. Is this the ejectory that is riveted onto the left inside of the receiver? Those have the head of the ejector blended with the outside of the receiver. Can you post a picture?

I think that Remington started making some MIM extractors, but am unaware of any MIM ejectors. The ejector spring is the functional part anyway and no one to my knowledge has yet made a MIM spring that will reliably work. Colt tried it on the 1911 extractor and failed. And that is a much more substantial spring than the Remmy ejector spring.

Colt used "powdered metal" for the Trooper revolver hammers. I remember replacing at least one of those where the 'thumb piece' broke off. MIM parts on a firearm make my milk curdle. Here is a Ruger Mark II Government model pistol whereby I replaced this MIM hammer with a machined steel hammer. Notice how, at the top front radius is beginning to crumble away:
