Does the 9MM, .40, & .45 Witness Elite Match all have the same size frame. I have a .40 and a friend really likes the grip, but wants a .45. I checked the website, but it wasn't clear about that, at least to me anyway.. Thanks, AC

Yes, they utliize the same frame for all calibers now to facilitate the conversion kits and minimize manufacturing costs.

The only thing I'm not 100% sure about is the standard conversion kit versus the long slide kit. The Match is technically a long slide but I believe the standard kits will work on them too.

Call EAA, they are very helpful when I call.

I have a .45 Match and LOVE it.

Walkalong;

If your friend has the chance to get the Witness Elite Match in 45acp, he should certainly do it. The EM for about $500.00 is one of the best buys available.

Here's a picture of mine in 45acp.

Best regards.

I"m curious whats the big difference between the match vs the stock, besides the price?

match has a longer barrel, extended mag release, and is single action only, whereas the stock is double action/single action.

stock also has some other features that the match doesnt like a beveled magwell, cone barrel slide lockup, checkered front/back strap and extended safety.

Sucks the Match is two-tone, I just don't think it looks good. Otherwise I would consider picking one up over the Limited.

I wish I had gotten the 9MM instead of the .40. Cheaper to shoot. I was thinking of seeing if someone out there would trade. Might just do that too.
