Personally, I think we are on the cusp of seeing supply catch back up with demand. CheaperThanDirt (whom I'm extremely angry with over their price gouging on ammo and will likely never purchase from again, even though I live 3 miles from their store) had Wolf 122gr on their website for $4.97 per box a few days ago. Ammo prices are about to fall back to where they should be. That would be the time to stock up, IMO.
I was in Impact a few days ago, they said that they are definitely seeing the end of the crisis, they have a lot of stuff in the warehouse they couldn't get, and for pretty much anything you're talking about weeks, not months.
mlj, hopefully that applies to primers as well. I have enough large rifle to get me through the summer, but once prices return to normal, I'll be buying a couple more bricks. I don't have an issue with small pistol primers, sitting on a pile of those.
What is the primary factor allowing more ammo to be found, or prices to come down?
Have most people finished their panic-buying, or have manufacturers produced more ammo etc?
The fact that the govt has not passed any of the much-dreaded legislation might have sunken in (until the next Congess. elections)...or has it?
