Wolf primers availability?

Just noticed that Powder Valley is only selling a few different types of Wolf primers, right now, down from 6 or so, last time I made an order. They also never sold Wolf SPP to being with, as long as I've been ordering from them. But now they're selling just .223, SRP, and shotshell primers. They used to also sell LPP and SP magnums, and I believe LRP, too.

Anyone have a clue as to why this is or how long this will last? Are they going to run out of Wolf primers altogether?

I called them yesterday about the wolf primers. I was told that they are out of stock on them and that she was unsure WHEN or IF they would get them back in stock. I have used the tula primers in small pistol and I guess I will have to try the tula in large pistol and small rifle as I am running low.

I believe the Wolf name is being phased out and Tula will be the brand name but of course this could be entirely wrong.

They are the exact same primer, same factory etc.

They told me that they got Wolf and Tula from different jobbers but they were the same primer from the same factory. The Wolf jobber was cheaper at the time I talked to them and but his suppies were drying up.

Yep. I was thinking the same thing. They are running out of Wolf but they have plenty of the higher priced Tula primers.

It also looks like the 'Special' on the CCI primers is over.

Regular price for CCI LPP is now $26. Maybe component prices will fall a little?

I just googled them and graf & sons have them. I am not sure of what shipping restrictions that they have as I have not ordered primers from them. Once the supplies caught up after the Obama scare I just buy local, and they don't carry Wolf here. I do have about a hundered LR left so guess I will be switching to another brand soon.
