Woo Hoo! Got My S&W M&P 40 2-free magazines!

Got my two free M&P 40 mags in the mail today. Mailed in the rebate form Nov 20. Not too bad compared to most computer equipment rebates -- usually don't get anything until 8-10 weeks *after* the offer expires.

Now if I get my $50 rebate check before the next gun show I'll really be in hog heaven.

My MP .40 is still my current favorite. I wanted to get another before the rebate thing ended. [I need to replace one of my .45's, as much as I like the .45's they are so expensive to shoot] But I forgot about my purchasing permit and it expired. I will have to take care of that Saturday.

The rebate has been extended to the end of April. A move that will likely cost me yet the price of another M&P.

I debated M&P40 vs. 45 vs. 9mm, if the offer still is good and I can do it again, the M&P 45 or 9 could be on the horizon!

Thank you for the info! I can quit being anxious over the whole situation. Because I will also need a new 9mm soon too. [I noticed my wife dancing in the streets-that is how I figured out my gun purchasing permit ran out] Actually she shoots too. She just thinks I get carried away buying, and trading guns, until I buy one for her then its OK [she could have a point I suppose]

PS-Nice Pics! You are making Me and Wally Jealous! Try the Hogue slip on grip for the non-compact models. I have them on my MP .40 and 9mm. It makes it really nice! [probably will not fit the .45 however] Take care!

Well, I'm afraid the news doesn't end there.

As a further attack on my wallet, there is a $100 rebate on their 1911s. Oh...and $100 off the M&P15.

Thanks for the heads-up on the hogue. I've been meaning to get one to try it. If I don't like it, I know it will go good on one of my Glocks.

Oh...and make the gal happy...get her a full size 9mm. It's my favorite of the group.

The compact M&P fits my hand considerably better with the extended grip mag. Will Smith & Wesson send you two mags with the extended grip if you request them?
