I've tried searching and I can't seem to find the list of grip manufacturers. I remember seeing a post with a long list. Problem is, I ordered som grips from Grips4Guns on 07-03-08, today is the 21st and they're saying another 2 weeks before shipping. I'm ready to cancell the order and try someone else. I'm looking for some nice wood grips for a S&W 19-3 square butt. Am I being unreasonable or should I have more patience?

Anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm trying to find someone who offers a replica of this J-frame rubber Uncle Mike's grip, but in cocobolo instead of rubber (the exact same dimensions, with or without checkering):

Seems like I'm the only person out there who likes the added control of that extra finger groove...

Those Uncle Mike's grips and the Uncle Mike's Boot grips that come stock on S&W J frame revolvers were designed by Craig Spegel. They are exact replicas of his wood grips and he allowed Buttler Creek to manufacture them under license because Spegel doesn't make rubber grips. You can buy Craig Spegel grips Here or Here. Be warned though, that are expensive grips. They are worth it but they will cost you.

I like the boot grip on my .38 Special and the longer grip on my .357 Magnum J frame so you're not the only one. Right now I have Badger Rosewood grips on my M640 and they tame the recoil even when shooting full powder Magnum rounds. That are also outstanding grips!
