I have been in the shop lately using up some scrap I have accumulated.

There are a few boxes missing from the photos, but all are of similar construction, just different sizes. I have used one for a range box, a tool box, med kit box, ammo box, parts box and a rifle case. The rifle case gets a little heavy, but looks cool. I had fun painting them also.

The cabinet houses a metal gun cabinet. Its wider than it looks, due to being built-in. The interior will be finished later, Paint & padding or carpet; When funds are available.

I definitely like the cabinet with the safe in it. Great idea in the way of concealment.

Yeah, I figured a cabinet is somewhat less obvious. when installed, it will still get secured to the wall / floor. Its build with 3/4" plywood that was screwed together, then laminated with 1/4" plywood for the finished look. The back is also 3/4".

nice job.

just recovering from a splinter in the eye
that went there during some wood and bladework.

ALWAYS wear protective glasses on any grinding work!

it´s funny how u put handles on the sides of the cabinet
AND then bolt it to the floor or wall :)
....make sure some smily sign pops up
as u try to move it :harrharr
