I know I married her for a reason...

Walked in the door tonight, and my lovely wife handed me 2 packages, one flat, one box...she said "open the flat one first". It it was a Kershaw Carabiner. Neat little tool!

I then proceeded to open the box...another knife, another Kershaw. This time, it was the E.T. (External Toggle). Very neat knife! I've never owned a knife that came with a CD instructional video before. I should have watched it before playing with the E.T., though. All the nicks and cuts make typing a b!tch!!!

Yeah!

I look at the E.T. online and have to scratch my head... post some photos!

Though if it came with its own DVD, maybe how it works isn't the kind of thing you can explain through still pics.

Sounds like you've got a good 'un.

The ET looks cool, but scares me!

The ET is really cool looking, and fit and finish seem to be very, very good.

However...(don't tell the wife) I am inclined to believe this knife will end up being a safe queen. It definitely won't replace my Leek for EDC, and in "the field" I carry an Anza or a KaBar or a Mora filet knife.

Neat as all get out, but doesn't seem to have a place right now...

If you have the handle gripped firmly, even if you hit/bump/yank on the release it won't fold up on you. Its difficult for me to explain just how it opens/closes, but if there is any resistance on the handle, it doesn't open/close.
