This rail is listed for a Marlin 1895 45-70, would the screw holes on the rail line up with the ones on my 336? https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/product-p/mi-1895r.htm

This is the scope rings I'm going to be using. https://www.midwestindustriesinc.co...e-Mount-with-1-4-in-Offset-p/mi-qd1sm-blk.htm

Using this scope. http://bushnell.com/tactical/riflescopes/ak-optics/ak-1-4x-24mm

Was looking for Weaver mounts and a Weaver to Picatinny adapter, but only found Picatinny/Weaver 2 in 1 (could mount either or but that doesn't work very well). But this path seemed to be easier to handle.

Yup. The 336 and 45-70 are the same receiver, same mount footprint.

This wouldn't be a good choice. That's listing a 1.415" height, and the Marlins have notoriously low combs, such an AR height mount like that will place the optic centerline about even with the top of your forehead. The mount is way, way too tall.

Considering using a low profile scope like this, that AR height mount will be an even worse choice.
