This poll is bound to be not very precise.

My decision would largely depend on a whether he is leaning towards militant islamic fundamentalism.

If he doesn't then I would apply the same standards to him as to any other person (how long do I know him, do we share similar views and ethical bounds etc).

That said, any kind of fundamentalist is a very unpleasant company to me, be he muslim, christian, hindu or whatever.

Let's see, how many Muslims are there in the world? And how many of those individuals are terrorists? Heck, I bet there are more mainstream Christian IRS and ATF agents than there are Muslim terrorists. Doesn't keep me from trusting mainstream Christians, though.

I would not trust a Christian or a Muslim if they were a fanatic and there are plenty of each here and around the World. If the human race is to survive it will be because of a proper/objective education, not the "interpreted" meanings of "selected" ancient texts. Study history but don't let it decide for you.:scrutiny:

Uh, would I trust a Christian or a Jew or an avowed aetheist?

I guess I'd trust any of them as far as I could throw them until I know them and even then I'd only trust them to be human and that can be real disappointing even in the best of times.

That's why I like dogs, cats and other critters and often times prefer their company. Besides that, as long as I feed them on a regular basis, they tend to agree with my innate wisdom.

Religious people seem to be a bit judgemental at times and since I'm rarely ever wrong (I may not be right, but I'm never wrong.. as the saying goes) I judge them to be too judgemental :D

Other than that, why do you ask?

Adios
