Wow! Beretta 70 from gunbroker, w/ added surprise!

I found that magazines for the Beretta Model 101 also work in the Model 70S though they are a bit longer. Came across one when I first bought my Model 70 but it didn't have the plastic spacer on it. So I bought a Model 100 magazine (7.65mm.), that had the spacer and it fit perfectly. It also holds 10 rounds instead of the Model 70S's 8 rounds.

Range trip went well. Pretty much flawless. I'm not as accurate with it as my other guns, but if really concentrate, I'm able to get a grouping to my liking.

On my second model 70, the first I had from mid 70 s made its way to the Azores on a boat and lives there now. My current one is a Jaguar which came in it's plastic blue box with 3.5" and 6 inch barrel s which in early 90s replaced the other. My son recently threaded the 6" barrel and is using it with his Sparrow suppressor in Oregon. These guns really like the Winchester copper plated bullets in my experience with them
