I know some THR users don't always log in when they're reading posts, but this sure does seem like a lot of guests online.

I think it rocks that there's over SEVEN HUNDRED people viewing THR right now.

I'm going to have to start watching more often to see if this is a lot or not. I remember when it used to be considered "a lot" when there were over 300 online at once.

How cool

It's possible it's connected to the various "hot issues" going on: the hurricanes, the NRA win in court on NO confiscations, even Wis. CCW issues.

On any given day this site has gov't/grabber lurkers. Some percent of the guests will be those.

I guess we should be on our best behavior then :neener:

I figured the current events would heighten the traffic, but deep down I was hoping that a lot of the guests were people coming to THR for a good ol' fashioned firearms education.

First post...

I was hoping that a lot of the guests were people coming to THR for a good ol' fashioned firearms education.

Thats why I come, having never grown up around guns, and only shot some at my in-laws place.

Still learning alot from you guys as I lurk here in the computer lab at school.

Some of ya are pretty hilarious too.

Don't forget that many guests come to the forum because one of us has linked a thread in this forum to a posting in another forum, or e-mailed the link to friends. I know this has happened with the Katrina "lessons learned" threads I posted in S&T: many folks told their friends about them, and send them the links, so when those friends click on the links to read the threads, they're recognized as "guests" - even if they're not looking at the rest of THR.

Good point on the links boosting the numbers.

Working Man is tired of working and is going home in 4 mins.
.... and now a little horn blowing.... 4 more hours later today
(after the sun comes up and I wake up) and I'll have 95 hours
for the week.... sad, thats not even my record. Good night THR. ;)
