I ran across a holster / belt / accessories maker by the name of Wright Leather Works. Its products appear to be high quality at a reasonable price. Does anyone here have a holster from Wright? I have a full-size 1911 and a 686 that could use some new leather (although I'm interested in any feedback for any make / model). Thanks in advance.

Oh brother, I was hoping someone would provide input before I did as I am keeping track of this thread...

First time on the site, it looks really nice. The gun belts are $50 before shipping, which is certainly less than some of the 'full-on' gun belts I have seen on other sites. Interesting stuff.

Here is another maker - likely more expensive but some of his stuff is quite interesting: http://www.andrewsleather.com/

Anyone? I'm shocked that there's a firearms-related product out there that no THR member has experience with. Ha.

Designs look good, stitching looks like it could be tighter. Prices seem reasonable and wait time is par for the course. If it speaks to you I say go for it and let us know when it shows!

From what google says every review I read is a favorable one.

I communicated by email with Brandon Wright who was very helpful. Their stuff looks really nice and I will order the holster for my Para 1911 longslide shortly.

Blues Dancer: I have a Andrews Leatherworks holster that I carry my Kimber 3" in and it is a very well made product. It is the OWB holster in this pic.

Recently bought Wright holsters for a Glock 19/23 and for a Commander-size 1911. Very impressed, like them a lot. The pistols fit perfectly, snug and very close to the body. They appear to me to be very well made. Highly recommended.

Took a class with my son last night, he borrowed my Wright for his Glock, liked it very much. The instructor commented on the quality of the rig also. Time to order another Wright for my EMP instead of "making do" with a holster that does not quite fit it.
