WTK How to Price Comemmorative 1911 set

I am helping a friend sell a number of weapons-all unfired, new in the box.He has a set of 4 WWI Commemorative 1911's,each in a display box,all matching serial numbers.I have not been able to help him establish a value.Any help?
Thanks [email protected]

Do you know who made them?

Who put the commerative set together?

Also, are they true firing weapons or reproductions that won't fire?

With that info we might be able to help more and more quickly.

Colt Made them. They are firing weapons.4 Brand new, never fired 45 calibers, each with it's own display box,all matching serial numbers.

You could look on the sales sites like auctionarms.com and gunbroker.com and the classified ads at gunsamerica.com and see if any are there. Look for closed auctions and final prices.

Seems I recall seeing a set of 4 like you describe on one of the gun auctions or GA for about $3600. But this was last year sometime. Reason I remember at all is that I had bought one that had been fired and paid $700 for it with no box or paperwork. Dang good shooter tho, which is what I wanted. And pretty to look at.
