WTK Python serial # help?

I have tried to research this independently,but so far have been ineffective.Can someone shed some light on a blue Python,6",Serial # 301XXE? I am attempting to find the date of manufacture,possible value.It's excellent,no box.

301XXE was made in 1976.
The numbers that year ran from 15001E TO 48300E.

Prices on Pythons generally run from about $700 to $1000.
