looks pretty good condition over all i am really thinking of getting it soon and its cheap for 275$ as that sporter :barf: stock will be chuck in the trash and a custom one like whats on my swiss k11 with be put on it ,giving it so eye appeal:thumbup: the front sight has been removed i see along the line to making it a easy muzzle break fix threading to tame down the 8mm kick say like this one like a old school one below as it would look look nice on the end

it looks good the bolt seems good to. its good idea to check under the bases. make shore the holes are strait and not shimmed up. if u got a head space gauge its worth checking. if u need Leopold style bases i have some mauser and fn hole gap. what stock are u thinking i like the Richards micro fits for the money. i am interested in the stock if u sell it. i got a pre ww1 German sporter i need a new stock made on a duplicator but looking for one that i can use for now till i find a place to send the original one. what is the thread size. maybe u can find some of the old herters brakes on eBay. they will match the gun better. as always check the bore id ask to slug before i buy. id like to here more of your plans for the rifle. seems like not many mausers are used anymore.
