Just wanted to share what is possible with a Remington X Mark pro trigger-just got a new Remington Model 7 predator (.243), which was too heavy out of the box.
I'm picky about my rifle triggers-a gritty, long or heavy pull is just not fun to me to shoot (I have several American Gold, Timney's and a few with trigger "kit's" I've re-worked).
The X Mark was nice other than it being heavy, so I took it to my gunsmith (Ron at Rays in Dallas-does really good work!) for a tune up.
Set now at a perfect for my use 2 3/4#, very crisp, minimal cost-saved my self a good $150 vs, putting new drop in.
