might be a bit early to declare this, but i feel pretty strongly that the XDs will be a frontrunner for CCW for a long time to come.

simple. light. reliable. accurate. single stack. .45ACP.

Bought one this week. Ran a boatload of ammo through it without any problems. Everything from 200 great SWC handloads to Hornady 230 gr TAP +P. Recoil was negligible, less than my N-frame 22-4 revolver. Just wish that I could find more magazines. Two 7-Rounders and 2 more 5-Rounders and it will enter the carry rotation.

jimbo55 so whats wrong with the xds i ran about 500+ rounds
in mine with out a hitch ?

Have over 2,000 rds through mine. Runs like a champ and feeds anything!
