Xtreme .45 200 grain RN?

Anyone loaded these in 45ACP? They are by far the cheapest non-cast bullets I have run across for this cartridge. Accurate enough for target practice?

My guns love them, especially with light loads. I usually go with 4.0 or 4.2 grains of Bullseye. Very clean and accurate load that even my grandkids enjoy shooting. You will never go wrong with any of their bullets.

I gave my father in law a box of 500 of them for his birthday. I load them with 4.5gr Bullseye for a soft can-popper and up to 5.0gr of Red Dot for a more serious close range load. My father in law likes 700X so I worked up a few loads for it and found they were pretty good in the full spectrum from mid-600fps up through the mid-800’s - about 3.8gr through 4.7gr 700X - from my milspec Auto Ordinance 1911A1. He’s shooting a Colt Gold Cup. I think they’re a good bullet for plated.

Are you including shipping cost in your cost comparison? I used to buy Xtreme plated bullets exclusively, especially on sale, until they priced themselves out of my market with their IMHO exorbitant shipping costs. ymmv

200gr Xtreme RN plated.
Those are a favorite of mine in 45 acp I seat them at 1.262" for pistol and carbine they do well there for me.

That’s why I buy them w/free ship to store from Cabelas. Of course if you don’t live near bass pro/cabelas it’s academic.

Yes I’ve used them along with their 200SWC & 230RN. Of course they’re accurate enough

They work very well. I have switched to accura outdoors though. They are cheaper than xtreme and berry's.
