Here's my supermatch:

From top to bottom: Yugo SKS with 10rd mag installed, Colt M-4/6400c, Uzi Model-A, N.M. M1-A w/GI stock. Camo came out funky looking in this pic for some reason.:scrutiny:

I changed my mind since last year.

Well, sort of. I still believe that not everybody has broadband, so just one picture. P95Carry posted his Hakim. I'll post the Hakim's daddy, a Swedish AG42B Ljungman. Note the strong family resemblance:

Somebody fell in love with this rifle:

lithgowscope.gif

And it turned out he had more SMLE's than I could shake a stick at, the guy is a Lee-Enfield fanatic. He doesn't reload ammo, and 6.5x55 ammo was more than he wanted to budget for, so he traded me the AG42B for the Weaver-scoped coachwood Lithgow above, plus several hundred rounds of Sellier & Bellot .303 British. No problem, I've been reloading 6.5x55 ever since I got my first M96 Swedish Mauser, so welcome home, Mr. Ljungman! :D

Pee Ess: That particular Lithgow, above, was seen elsewhere a few months ago. It was being shown on the news channels as it was held upright by a certain fellow by the name of Ryan Anderson. I bought it from him before he went into jihad mode. Things have been rather quiet since his arrest for attempting to sell military information to Al Qaeda. I offered to buy the gun back from it's new owner, but he's not too concerned about it's notoriety. It ain't exactly a scoped Carcano, anyway. ;)

Toggle bolt?

Nope. Gas-operated semi-auto, using a tilting bolt like the SVT Tokarev, SAFN-49, FN-FAL, and SKS. One of the first "craps where it eats" direct gas impingement designs, but considerably cleaner in operation than the AR-15/M16, Stoner should've paid more attention. Here's more:

That "handle" you see...

Is actually the rubber brass deflector/buffer. It slows down the velocity of the brass so it lands about 25 yards away, instead of 50 yards away.

It also keeps the brass from being too badly mangled, kind of a nice feature for somebody who reloads their 6.5x55 ammo. I understand HK has a similar brass buffer feature on their G3/HK91.

Some of mine.

AK's
Blonde stock = SSR-56
Reddish brown furniture = SAR-1
Black Synth' = SAM-7S
